Women's Day

An array of emotions

come to my mind,

as I try to pen down

thoughts that are kind.

My words

may not do justice

to the feelings invoked,

However, I'll give it a shot

for now that

I am provoked

You are independent

You are fierce

You are beautiful,

You are a blessing to all us men out there.

We may not express it

in words each day,

But we hurt each day seeing a few rotten men out there too

You are unique

You are strong

You are resilient

And more than all you are loved just the way you are :)
